SAMR at the 2018 AIA / SCS: Boston, January 5-7


We are looking forward to see you all in Boston this weekend!  SAMR will hold its annual business meeting, has programmed one formal session with the SCS on Drama and the Religious in Ancient Greece, and in addition SAMR members have programmed a session of interest with the AIA.

Annual Business Meeting   Friday, January 5, 5:00-6:00 PM.

SAMR will hold it’s annual business meeting Friday afternoon, 5:00-6:00 PM in the Courier Room of the Westin Hotel, floor 7. 

SCS Session 79   Sunday, January 7, 2:00-4:30 PM.

Drama and the Religious in Ancient Greece  Location: Marriott New Hampshire, 5th floor.  We have four  papers programmed, authored by Sarit Stern, Alexandre Johnston, Lisa Maurizio, and Rebecca Raphael.

AIA Block 8f    Sunday, January 7, 12:00-2:30 PM.

Big Data and Ancient Religion: Gods in our Machines?   Location: Exeter, 3rd floor

SAMR members Sandra Blakely and Megan Daniels have organized an AIA session of interest to scholars of Mediterranean religions, with papers by Dan-el Padilla Peralta, Sarah Murray, Sebastian Heath, Sandra Blakely, and M. Willis Monroe.
